THE LOGO

enso logo

Several people have asked me about the meaning behind the Selena Sage logo. It’s an excellent question and, I think, worthy of its own post!

I created this logo through the combination of two powerful symbols: the Enso and the Taoist Trigram for Heaven. The enso represents existence [outer circle] and the void [space within the circle], when Heaven is placed inside, the logo symbolizes my key belief that HEAVEN LIES WITHIN.

RE-DO

Perhaps one of the most amazing things about life is that each day brings a new start. No matter how your previous day ended, the sun rises the next day to renew us. We get another chance. While it can be easy to get caught up in all of the things in life that didn’t – Read More –

GOING ON

“One foot in front of the next…the start of a journey…” “And to do what I want, and to do what I please is first on my to do list…” “And I’ll see you when you get there, but I’m going on…and I’m prepared to go it alone…I’m going on.” — I love this tune! – Read More –

THE HEART IS RIGHT TO CRY

The

Heart is right to cry

Even when the smallest drop of light,

Of love,

Is taken away.

Perhaps you may kick, moan, scream

In a dignified

Silence,

HEALING

Byron Katie reached the depths of despair and overcame it all with a revelation that she calls “The Work.” Byron’s work has changed the thoughts and lives of many with her four simple questions.

I encourage you to give it a try and visit the link below for further study! She has been so kind as to include all materials needed to practice The Work for free online :)

Write down any situation, and then ask yourself these four questions:

1. Is it true?

2. Can you absolutely know that it’s true?

3. How do you react, what happens, when you believe that thought?

4. Who would you be without the thought?

Next, Turn the thought around. (e.g. If your statement was about someone else, substitue “I” for them in the sentence.) Then find at least three specific, genuine examples of how each turnaround is true for you in this situation.

Click here for an example of The Work in action

Love and appreciation to Byron Katie for sharing her work!

Change your thoughts and change your life!

WE ALL TRY

“You gotta believe in something…something…something… I still believe in man…a wise one asked me why… Cuz I just don’t believe we’re wicked. I know that we sin but I do believe we try…” — I appreciate the lyrics and flow of this tune :)
